Top 10 Most Powerful Characters In Naruto Universe

In Shinobi world there are always new enemy/hero/characters come and challenge each other, Which make them stronger and bring them close to understand themselves more and more. That's how they grew and grow forever.

As we know the manga already ended and the anime drawing to a close, it’s time to take a look at the power rankings of the Naruto-verse once more and revise it accordingly. It’s definitely not easy to rank them accordingly, especially when more and more powerful characters keep appearing to challenge our heroes. With that said, only characters who we have seen fighting in the series will be included and their power ranking will be decided relative to how well they did against whom in certain fights and their rank will be adjusted accordingly. This would lead to the exclusion of the god-like Rikudou Sennin and characters like the tailed beasts.

In Naruto universe all characters are badass and unique because of their ability, thought process, and their origin, but there are always some characters which are more badass than other. So, Let's begin the show down of  Top 10 most powerful Characters in Naruto Universe. 

10. Itachi Uchiha:

   Itachi is the older brother of Sasuke, also our favourite character. He was hailed as the youngest ever to become an ANBU captain and was prized by the clan for being a prodigy. This was all before he committed the Uchiha Massacre and fled Konoha, leaving a broken Sasuke clamouring for revenge. Over the course of the first half of the series, Itachi would make several appearances but never commit to a full-scale battle. However, whenever he does appear, any opponent he faces off against shows extreme hesitance and caution when going against him, as he is that terrifying.When he finally faces off against Sasuke, someone who would eventually become one of the most powerful characters in the series, he beats him to the point that Sasuke resorts to drawing out Orochimaru. The scary fact of the scenario is this; he wasn’t even fighting to kill, but to protect Sasuke. All this was done while he had a terminal illness. The world just isn’t ready for a full powered Itachi. The writer says in his interview itachi can beat Madara if both are in same age. I mean you can understand how much powerful is itachi.

9. Minato Namikaze:

    Minato is the Yondaime Hokage (Fourth Hokage) who earned the moniker of The Yellow Flash after his actions at the battle of Kannabi Bridge. These actions include decimating the entire army of the opposition in a split second by himself using the Hiraishin no Jutsu. The Hiraishin allowed him to teleport around the battlefield instantaneously, facilitating his defeat of an entire army.Later on, it was revealed that this terrifying figure was the father of Naruto, and he had sealed half of the Kyuubi’s chakra into his infant son in other to save both of the village and his child. However, before he was consumed by the Shinigami he sealed the other half in himself. Because of this, he was able to access the Nine-Tails Chakra Mode like Naruto when he was summoned by the Edo Tensei.The ability to command half of Kyuubi’s chakra at will alongside his previous skill set truly makes him a terror to behold on the battlefield.

8. Pain/ Nagato Uzumaki: 

With the current villains like Madara and Kaguya, adversaries of insane power levels, many have forgotten what a terrifying figure Pain struck in the past. He was originally the shrouded figure that commanded an entire organisation of S-Class criminals using nothing but fear and power. Little was known about him until his location was discovered by Jiraiya. The toad sage was then promptly slain by Pain. Pain proceeded to not only defeat powerful characters like Kakashi and several Jounin of Konoha at the same time, he used a jutsu so powerful that it leveled the entirety of Konoha in a single almighty push as if calling forth the power of the gods. It was only the combined efforts of Naruto, the toads, Hinata and the Intel from Jiraiya and Kakashi that enabled Naruto to eventually and marginally defeat the self-declared god. However, it was only near his death that he truly demonstrated why he deserves to be placed at the level of a god, for he broke through the boundaries of life and death and revived everyone he killed during his attack on Konoha.

7. Obito Uchiha:

       Obito was once the student of the infamous Minato Namikaze alongside Kakashi Hatake and Rin Nohara. However, it was not his tenure with Minato that granted him the prowess that he boasts throughout the series. It was after he was left for dead by his teammates that he was rescued by Madara Uchiha and trained to become a powerful ninja.He not only has an Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan in one eye but a Rinnegan in the other that he stole from the corpse of the previously mentioned Pain. With two god-like dojutsu at his command, Obito was able to enslave 7 Bijuu at once and decimate the entirety of the Shinobi Alliance at once. It was only the timely arrival of Naruto and Killer Bee that held him off.But even then, they only barely succeeded.

6. Hashirama Senju:

       Hashirama was the Shodaime Hokage of Konoha, founding the village alongside Madara Uchiha. He was famous for his wood release that was said to have unrivaled power. Its true prowess was its ability to suppress the Bijuu, allowing Hashirama to seal them into containers. His greatest asset is his remarkable life force, due to being a reincarnation of Asura.This vast reserves of life force allowed him to regenerate grievous wounds easily, something that Tsunade could only imitate through great effort. His massive energies also allowed him to spew out jutsu after jutsu, easily plowing through any enemy he could come across. It was only his great moral compass that stopped him from conquering the Shinobi world while he was alive, as even Madara admitted that he would not have been able to defeat Hashirama.

5. Sasuke Uchiha: 

As the self-proclaimed avenger of his clan, Sasuke has stopped at nothing to gain as much power as possible to achieve his goal. He has trained under many powerful Shinobi like Kakashi, Orochimaru and maybe even Obito. With the death of Itachi at his hands, he has even gained the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, making him even more powerful.It should also be noted he gained access to the Rinnegan due to being a reincarnation of Indra, allowing him to access both dojutsu at the same time. This put him as a formidable threat above even the likes of Obito, as his abilities are naturally gained. It’s a good thing he joined up with Team 7.

4. Naruto Uzumaki:

   As the protagonist of the series, it’s no surprise that Naruto ranks so highly on the list. He has seemingly unlimited Chakra due to being the reincarnation of Asura. This, coupled with the potent energies he receives from Kurama, gives him virtually unlimited stores of energy, allowing him to bombard his enemies with Rasengan after Rasengan.With the Nine-Tails Chakra Mode, he was able to stand up to the likes of Kaguya with the help of Sasuke, something that is seemingly impossible due to her goddess status. However, it is not jutsu or chakra that lets him win his battles but his never ending determination to protect his friends. As Naruto once said, “Give up on making me give up!”

3. Madara Uchiha:

    Madara is the patriarch of the Uchiha clan and one of the founders of Konoha. Scorned by his own people and overcome with jealousy, he left the village and returned with the Kyuubi to battle Hashirama, only to be trounced by the Hokage. It was at the point of his death that he unlocked the Rinnegan, but he never got the chance to use it.When he was fully revived at during the Fourth Shinobi World War, he had access to both the Sharingan and Rinnegan at the same time. He was able to use both to devastating effect.

2. Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki (Sage Of Six Paths):

 Born with the same powerful chakra as their mother, Princess Kaguya, Hagoromo and Hamura were fraternal twins who were each given incredible power. As the father of Asura and Indra, Hagoromo was seen more as a myth than as an actual historical figure. Tales of his bravery, as well as his kindness, were told far and wide, but more as a fable or fairy tale rather than as a historical account. Sealing the Ten-Tailed beast inside of himself with the help of his brother Hamura, Hagoromo became the first, and arguably the most powerful jincūriki. Maintaining the Jutsu inside of himself for both the Uchiha clan as well as the Senju and Uzumaki – lines that were eventually descendants of his sons, Indra and Asura – Hagoromo is easily one of the most powerful and wisest ninja in the entire naruto universe.

So great was her might that the populace alleviated her from priestess to godhood, christening her with the title of Rabbit Goddess.As the progenitor of chakra, she has access to all forms of nature transformations as well as Kekkei Genkai. She is able to regenerate any wounds with ease, and can even shift through dimensions to level the field to her advantage. The greatest threat she commands against Naruto and Sasuke is the All-Killing Ash Bones. A single hit would corrode their bodies to ash, giving them no choice but to dodge even after receiving the powers of their reincarnations.
